 Fairley Gunn Group is looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Executive to drive profitable sales growth across Gilligan Engineering Services and NDT Electronic Services.

This is a consultative B2B sales role focused on developing existing customer relationships, generating new business, understanding customer requirements and recommending appropriate products, services, hire options and wider solutions.

The role requires a proactive, self-managing salesperson who can take ownership of opportunities from initial contact through to proposal, follow up and close, while maintaining a credible sales pipeline and working closely with technical and operational colleagues where specialist input is required.

The position covers our sites in Prudhoe and Jarrow, with regular travel to customer and supplier locations. The salary is £45,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus company car or car allowance.

This is a varied coordination role with genuine day to day autonomy, covering project schedules, engineering availability, materials, suppliers, customer requirements and job progression.

The position is primarily based in Jarrow, with regular travel to Prudhoe. The salary is £36,000 to £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
